Frequently asked questions:

Q:  What vaccinations do you require for grooming?
Proof of a current rabies, distemper, and parvo vaccination is required for pets 4 months of age or older.  Otherwise rabies is all we need.  If your pet is unable to receive vaccinations for medical reasons, please discuss with us.

Q:  Do you groom cats?


Q:  Do you groom large dogs?
Yes, as long as we are able to get the pet into and out of the tub, the pet can stand for reasonable amounts of time, and the pet is not aggressive.  Any dog weighing over 60lbs will need to be discussed over the phone to be sure it is a fit for the mobile grooming process.

Q:  How old must a pet be to be groomed? Is there an age limit for elderly pets?
Puppies must be at least 10 weeks old to be groomed.  There is not an age limit for older pets.  Senior pets will be evaluated on an individual basis to assess their ability to be groomed.

Q: What areas do you service? 

Mobile dog grooming services are available in Spring Hill, Thompsons Station and South Franklin. 


Q:  Do you offer hand stripping?
Yes.  If the growth is excessive, it may take a few appointments to complete.

Q:  Do you offer any discounts?
Yes!  Households with 3 or more dogs will receive a break on pricing.

Q:  Should I tip the groomer?
Pet grooming is a professional service industry. Just as a hairdresser, manicurist or spa technician for humans receives tips, so does your pet's groomer!  Tips are not mandatory, but always greatly appreciated.

Q:  What payment methods are accepted?
We currently accept cash or checks (a fee of $35 will be charged for any returned checks).  There is also a 9.25% imposed TN state sales tax added to the total amount due.

Q:  Do I have to be home when my pet is being groomed?
You should be home to meet and speak with us
at least for the first visit to go over grooming instructions and introduce your pet.  Arrangements can be made for future visits if you would like us to groom your dog without you being home.


Q:  How often should I have my dog groomed?

Every 4-6 or 8 weeks depending on coat type and lifestyle  We will be glad to sit down with you to assess what would work best for you, your dog, and your budget.


Q:  What happens if you find fleas on my dog?

We will use flea shampoo at an additional charge of $10 along with a clean-up fee of $10 to rid my trailer of any remaining fleas.


Q:  Do you offer medicated baths?

Yes.  This is a great alternative for dogs with skin issues.  There is an additional charge of $10 for this service..


Q:  My pet is very matted.  What can you do?

Humanity before vanity is my motto!  We strive to offer a relaxing, pain free, grooming experience for your pet.  If your pet is severely matted, we will be able to offer you a "start over groom" using the longest length blade that will penetrate the mats.  Just remember, it is more humane to cut down the coat and start fresh than to de-mat a heavily matted coat.  Also, decreasing the time between appointments and/or finding more manageable coat style or length can be discussed at this time.

Q:  How do you know your exact arrival time?

We will arrive as close to the scheduled appointment time as possible.  However, sometimes situations occur that will disrupt the daily schedule.  This includes traffic, weather,  mechanical difficulties or needing to spend more time than planned with an older, younger or difficult dog.  We will give you a window of 60 minutes for arrival time.  The dog's safety and comfort will NEVER be compromised by rushing to meet a schedule.  If we know that we will not be able to arrive within that window, we will call or text you. 


Q:  What if I need to cancel my pets appointment?

As long as you notify me 24-48 hours in advance of your appointment there is no problem since this may allow us to fill your space with another client.  If you do not call to cancel your appointment or you are not at home when I arrive, a $20 service fee may be charged.


Q:  What days do you offer appointments?
The available days for mobile dog grooming are Monday through Fridays.
